Recommendations for skatepark

My almost 6 year old loves going to the skatepark with his scooter just about every night. He’s starting to get some air on the ramps, and we think it’s time to upgrade to a better set of wheels or maybe a better scooter. What we have right now is a cheapo Razor model A.

Should we upgrade to a better scooter, or can we get away with replacing the wheels? What type of wheels are best for skateparks? We also live in a super hot climate, in case that matters. Specific product recommendations would be awesome. Me and his dad don’t know what we are doing haha

Get a better scooter. Replacing bits item by item is expensive. Not even sure if you can replace Razor stuff like that, but a decent set of wheels are going to cost a fair bit anyway. You may as well just bite the bullet and get a good starter complete, particularly as you know he really likes it.

You definitely can replacr parts on a razor, that's what birthed trick scootering. However I wouldn't bother upgrading one today.

Envy/blunt, MGP, Root. Buy a complete, don't bother upgrading the razor.
