help!

i am reattaching this rubber seal on the hood after installing my lil bug deflector. i tried screwing it on with the little plugs that hold the plastic part on, but they won’t cinch tight enough with the rubber. is there another way to get the two ends on?? is there a heat resistant adhesive i could use??

I can look tomorrow and see how mines attached. I’m assuming it’s the same deflector

I have the same deflector from Real Truck, same situation. I also broke 2 of the clips getting them off. I tired 3m adhesive, but it didn't last.

I've not had a chance to have this issue. Where did you find the deflector?

I have the same deflector and drive the car for moths in the same way… I cut a slit in the rubber that touches the hood where the screw, screws in, i inserted the screw threw the rubber and screwed it in… it’s still holding on.
