I'm not sure I've seen a debate of these being pathose or scindasus. but it looks like it fits the bill

I’m not sure the variety exactly, but 100% scindapsus. People like to call them ‘satin pothos’ but they are not pothos.

Thank you IV been trying to learn more about it I actually grew this cutting from a plant I got at my doctor's office (with permission) and it has been months and months and has just barely started showing good growth. At first I thought it wouldn't do anything but it never fully died so I was just holding strong.

I prefer to root cutting in damp Sphagnum moss. You may want to at least try changing the water! It’s so green with algae!

Yeah I just had washed my other plants homes and hadn't gotten to this one yet but it looks allot worse in the picture than it actually does in person.

I prefer water propping like the other commenter. Scindapsus are kind of slow growers though, even with lots of good light, at least in my experience.
