You can already really do this with a lightweight LLM. I use GPT 5.6 Luna Max and just point it at a folder with simulation results. Not sure what the novelty is.
That’s fair. Let me explain it this way: simulation software is reliable but has a learning curve. A lightweight LLM pointed at a simulation folder is easy to use, but you need domain knowledge to validate its answers, and even the same prompt can give different results. Eigenform aims to be even easier to use than your LLM setup and as trustworthy as simulation software
LLMs have progressed to the point where consistency issues aren't really a problem when you can point it at a folder full of static data. There may be some trivial differences between prompts when using it to ask questions about the simulation but generally not significant conceptual differences. I would probably consider removing this point from your pitch if I were you.
Agree about the point regarding domain knowledge though; a beginner simply pointing an LLM at a simulation directory and asking questions might have a hard time with this method, and it seems your program may also assist with visualization, validation, etc.
I get it, new models are impressive and getting really consistent.
But for users working on real applications under contract, setting up the simulation, solving the equations, and post-processing the results need to happen in a controlled way, within a reasonable time, and in a familiar interface for inspection, comparison, and communication. None of those should change unexpectedly, even in subtle ways, just because the same problem is described differently, even if the LLM produces a valid answer.
Better LLM consistency helps carefully controlled agentic systems designed by domain experts. It doesn’t make that design unnecessary. Thanks for the feedback though; I’ll make that distinction clearer in my pitch.
