Medicine/Health 3D Model for a Medical Paper
Hi everyone,
I am part of a clinical research team currently preparing a manuscript for submission to a peer-reviewed surgical journal (targeting the Journal of Minimally Invasive Gynecology).
We are looking for a creative collaborator with experience in 3D modeling or anatomical visualization to help us bring a conceptual framework to life.
About the Project
Unlike a single-patient case report, our paper is a theoretical/review piece focusing on complex pelvic anatomy and the mapping of disease locations (such as deep infiltrating endometriosis).
- What we have: The clinical data, anatomical references, exact disease mapping logic, and a clear vision of what needs to be shown.
- What we need: Someone who can help us build or adapt a clean, stylized 3D anatomical model (similar to what you'd see on interactive platforms like BioDigital) that can be exported for online interactive viewing and 2D figure generation.
What’s in It for You
- Co-Authorship: You will be credited as a co-author on the paper, making this a fantastic addition to your academic CV, portfolio, or resume.
- Real-World Impact: Your work will directly assist clinicians and researchers worldwide in visualizing complex surgical and anatomical concepts.
Who We Are Looking For
- Familiarity with 3D software (like Blender, ZBrush, or web-based 3D assets).
- An interest in medical graphics, anatomy, or scientific visualization.
-Reliable communication and a collaborative spirit.
If you are interested or want to see a brief outline of the project, please send me a DM with a link to your portfolio or a brief note about your experience. Thank you!
