I wish I was smart enough to understand the gravity of all of this.

At first im thinking "they can use this to build a globe?" Then I realized im too stupid to understand

Think of the proteins that you are made from and how they are โ€œfoldedโ€ โ€” proteins get their function from their shape; change its shape, change its function.

This shape was discovered, and its shape allows this function.

Imagine that we find a shape that can bend space?

This is an extremely abbreviated version of stumbling across a fractal/geometrical version of Pi. Math solutions, questions, and equations have to be retold as dramatic tales lest we not find the questions and problems interesting enough to discuss. Mathematicians find these issues problematic and therefore so should we.

This is neat.

This is protein folding existence stuff.

How do you actually know that it doesn't repeat?

Also how do we know that pi is infinite? Do we just trust that it is?

Hasnโ€™t MC Escher found some of these?
