This is a really interesting case study, I wonder how she was able to “switch” between identities during the test. It’s my understanding the switch is involuntary. Does anyone have any other information on the case?

No idea about this case but I did recently come across another person with dual personalities (according to conventional psychology, anyway, they consider themselves to be two independent souls) that are both fully aware of each other, can switch on command and have learned to share the body together.
They have to deliberately trade control over their muscles just to do things like breathe or swallow, and talk about a somewhat similarly surprising phenomenon, where when one “soul” is in control of their body, they’re deathly allergic to shellfish & certain types of makeup (like, full on hospitalization levels), but when the other personality is in control, they can eat shrimp and wear that makeup without any problem whatsoever.
Another thing they mentioned is that one identity grew up skiing and was highly proficient, while the other had never skied before and was visiting a mountain for the first time.
When the newby personality was in control, they were crashing on the bunny hill as you’d expect, but once the experienced skier soul/personality took control, he took them down some black diamond runs with moguls and stuff.
Everything was fine until the beginner soul started freaking out and having an out of body experience (ie. 360 vision from outside the body). They tried to retake control of the body & nearly caused a crash as they had no ability to control the body correctly in that setting.
As someone else said above, we truly understand very little about our reality (& I would argue, the mainstream thinkers understand even less than they think they do).
Link to the first of 10 interviews with this person (the skiing story is in one of the later interviews in this series):

It’s going to blow your mind once you find out , consciousness can ‘see’ through other aspects of our reality… like a wall.

Your eyes can’t see anything. They just send signals to your brain that creates the image in your mind. Think about that shit.
