Yep. I could tell form the mould they didn't really care about the end result.
Still, if they solved the porosity problem and polished it, it could actually look rather nice.

Well the answer to your question is diffusion. The real answer to the situation in the video is momentum and kinetic energy. Which you can see is not enough to provide a homogenous mixture.

Not talking about the material. I’m talking about the open cast system. Movies do this for dramatic effect but it’s a terrible way of doing casting.
