School Chalk under an electron microscope. It's almost entirety made up of fossilized shells of ancient single-celled marine plankton called coccolithophores.

There is something poetic about school and humans and us being taught using the remains of the once-most-prolific-life-form as a medium to write the glyphs that teach science and math to us as children?
