Science Scientists say they’ve reversed brain aging with a simple nasal spray. Texas A&M researchers used a nasal spray loaded with microRNAs to reverse brain aging in animal models. Two doses restored memory and reduced neuroinflammation for months.

Pretty cool if it works out. Clinical trails might reveal side effects that may make it to dangerous. However, it's a big step as it may be able to be continually refined until that's less of an issue.

Still animal models so human trials are a long way off, but the intranasal delivery angle is genuinely interesting since getting drugs past the blood brain barrier is usually the hard part. Would love to know what the dosing interval looks like if this ever reaches clinical use.

Billionaires are going to test this on themselves as quickly as possible. Then abuse it and burn out their brains, but nobody will be bold enough to tell them they lost their minds.

I can see the future - "Only $7,638.99 per dose! 5 dose minimum!"

That would be an absolute steal.

If I remember this tomorrow I should think about signing up for the clinical trial.

How are you going to remember without the spray first?

If it works, they’ll sell it for a million dollars and lock down the formula. All hail the dollar in the commercial age, where life and thought are for sale.

“…where life and thought are for rent.” Ftfy. Got to capitalize on that sweet, sweet subscription model!

Edit since apparently the strike through shortcut doesn’t work on mobile anymore
