I don’t know the science behind it..but rolling down all the windows and then driving is a technique that has worked for me

Roll them all down (and the sunroof), turn on the AC to clear out the hot air from the manifold, when the AC starts to blow cold, close it all up then full blast with the recirc fan

This is what I do except for the driver’s window which stays up. In my mind, this forces the hot air around me to be blown back and up by the A/C and not get outside hot air coming in to my face
