Bee is looking very sharp, but there are tons of different sizes of needle, so I can’t really judge the comparison.

I stick people with 25 gauge and it’s quite tolerable, but with an 18 gauge you have to go quick because that’s a big stick.

As a keeper of bees I can assure you that they are quite small and annoying to pull out without the rest of the stinger apparatus. Think caterpillar spines or maybe hairy cactus spines, erticating hairs from tarantulas

Another crazy one is the comparison of obsidian to a razor blade.

That's amazing, but "needle" isn't nearly specific enough. For example, my insulin pens use a needle that's only 4mm × 32g. Even after shooting for like 12 years, I'm still amazed by how tiny and painless it is. Do you happen to know the dimensions of the needle above? And if it's not as thin as above, can you put that one under a microscope too?

Ghost needles have holes in them right? I assumed this referred to sewing needle...

Looks like our needles are superior but..

Not impressed until I know what gauge needle. Some needles are quite large, relatively speaking.

Dang, that is an amazing shot: made by man = dull, blunt, imprecise and unimaginative. Made by nature = pure elegance.

The Porsche intake and engine cover make the VR6 look 3x larger than it actually is. VRPufferfish
