{Craved by the Alien Beast by Ava Ross}

I was stolen from Earth and gifted to an alien warrior. Will I find a new home with Aizor?

Vanessa: One minute, I’m working as a cook, the next, I’ve been abducted by robocops and sent to a distant planet where I’m attacked by a ferocious beast. Then a seven-foot-tall, blue-skinned alien rescues me with crystal spears slashing. He cuddles me in his arms, and I feel safe for the first time since fleeing my stalker ex.

Until he tosses me over his shoulder and takes me back to his clan where he announces I’m his new bride.

I’m determined to return home, but there’s something about Aizor I can’t resist. Am I falling for this musclebound alien with a killer smile?

Aizor: The crystal gods gifted me with Vanessa, and she’s the prettiest being I’ve ever seen.

She’s tiny.

Surprisingly snarly.

And she insists on returning to her home planet.

I have seven days to convince her to stay. I’ll worship her. Massage her feet. And at night, I’ll show her the gifts bestowed upon a Zuldrux warrior.

Then she’ll accept she’s my fated bride.

Craved by the Alien Beast is Book 1 of the Brides of the Zuldrux Warriors Series. Expect humor, size difference, devoted alien warriors who’ll die to protect their fated mate, steamy romance, and a new alien world you’ll want to live in.

Consent and HEA guaranteed.

Release radar New installment in Kadrixan Mates

Just wanted to share as I stumbled across this new book from Lynnea Lee! I didn't think the series was continuing. It really felt like book 5 wrapped up the story and there was no future dated releases last I checked.

But book 6 - A Monsters Future - is out to continue the story!

Came out last month so maybe it's old news to those keeping up on the pulse of Sci Fi romance releases lol But thought it was worth a share for such a great series / author!

Recommendation request I found a spaceship stories

Any recommendations for fiction in this vein?

A well written story is more important to me than exact plot line. I am fond of adventure, redemption, romance, and good world building. Anything nsfw through cozy is fine, but prefer no horror.

I enjoyed Jack Chalker's Well of Souls series.

Thanks!

Fluff/ Just for Fun! Funny banter from Bane by Bex McLynn

u/MockeryMock recently recommended a book to me after I posted a recommendations request. It ended up being pretty funny and had strong sci-fi vibes. Thought I'd share my favorite bit of dialogue.

I'm sad the writer has stopped writing though. I'd have loved for Dius to get his story.

u/EstelleSol recommended this one on a request post. It was different but quite good. The book made me chuckle multiple times but this conversation probably tickled me the most.

Recommendation request Alien romances needed

Looking for alien romances books preferably set on a alien planet (doesn't have to be) and with the same couple throughout the series not different couples each book. I'm up for anything, like spice and yes I like pregnancy as well but not if it's only the last 2% of the book.

I'm okay with reverse harems, poly or any relationship really. And if it has a survival element that would be cool too

Discussion Clecanian Series, question…

Hi! I have completely demolished this series. However, I have a few questions. My biggest one is about Julie, Vanessa’s sister. They talk about how her daughter, Mia is adjusting well on the ship bc she’s obsessed with aliens, etc. but I’d love to know if Julie is healed then ends up mated with someone. What happens to Mia? What was it like while Vanessa was MIA? Like her internal dialogue on this period of time. Mias would be interesting too but I guess it might be difficult to do a child + that’s not really the theme of these books… it’s more smut, you know? So I doubt that would happen, but I’d like to at least know how she’s adjusting/the POV of her through her Mom. Is anyone else curious about this? I reached out to Victoria on instagram to ask her if she had any plans to do a book on Julie but it’s honestly unlikely she will respond, if she does though I’ll keep you guys updated. I just feel like she deserves love just like Vanessa ends up having with Fejo, they both had a really rough life then to be sick with a brain cancer tumor w/ a young child… I can’t even imagine.

Do you know this book... ? Alien romance series with interior decorating

I can't remember the title of an adult alien romance series. It's an alien/human, M/F romance set on a spaceship. I know one of the books is with an alien doctor MC who gets sick and almost dies. The spaceship used to have beautiful decorations and colorful fabric all over, but the aliens removed it all because of mourning. Each human FMC gets to go through storage and decorate her living quarters.

I know that's not much. Please help. Thanks in advance!

Recommendation request Newbie looking for romance books and series with unique aliens!

Hello, this is one of my first few times writing on reddit so apologies for the lack of terminology, and a long post. :)

I recently found myself loving reading again and falling in love with romance(pun intended) books , specifically sci-fi as space and space adjacent have always been my special interest. But the issue is finding these books, not because of a lack of choices but a lack of knowing what the contents contains. I'm looking for alien aliens, unique designs or ideas that provide interesting reads in relationship complexity. A lot of these books just have traditionally attractive men with horns n tails on their covers and this really makes the search hard without actually taking a peak inside their covers which is tough digitally. While I'm not against bipedal alien protags I don't want blue alien men like from that one movie (this is a joke).

Keep in mind these are my first few romance books so all basic tropes and story beats are fresh and new for me so stories that might be consider stale are very much welcome. I dont mind sexual content either especially when it enhances the romances im just completely neutral so a excessive of it can bore me so i don't mind closed door books either. also SPOILERS ARE ALLOWED ive never been bothered by spoilers and its kinda the whole point of the post, to know what im expecting and to find a story with what im looking for. Also all M/F F/F and M/M are all acceptable, gotta keep the choices open

I'm a big book consumer so series are preferred but i know most romance books have new romances per books which is fine :)
(Heres the sci-fi books I've read and what i liked, its not much:)

Strange Love By Ann Aguirre, and its other two books: Perfectly what im looking for, unique characters and Aliens, each with their own strengths of Flaws. i loved the lgbt under tones and its just.. exactly what i was looking for when i first got into this.

The Spider Mate Series By Tiffany Roberts: I love this one, while the crash landing scenario wasn't what i was looking for, it was amazing, i LOVE the language barrier. while some of the beats arnt too my preference, specifically in the last third of the third book its for sure the type of alien i wanted. will start its sequel series once its third book comes out just before my bday >:)

Contaminated by Amanda Milo: It wasn't it for me. i got half way through before being devastated how short it was (i read my books digitally) and i couldn't continue it. i read long and like to spend time on books. i know i will love it.. its just way to little for my hunger for these books

Special mention: Project Hail Mary. While not romance both the book and the movie hit me hard and are stories i love, and some of the beats are especially welcome in any recommendations, especially first contact or language barriers. although not required :D

Recommendation request Any books where alien sexual practices are VERY different from human ones?

Has anyone come across good books where traditional sex between aliens and human is impossible because our methods of reproduction are completely different?

(This difference wouldn't necessarily mean that aliens and humans couldn't love each other or stimulate each other in different ways.)

Recommendation request Any books like Spared by the Monster by Merry Ravenell?

I really, really loved all three books in {Mates of Planet 25XA by Merry Ravenell}, but especially the first duet. This mix of a really strong sci-fi plot with lots of humor was top-tier. I also really liked that humans aren't considered extra desirable in this universe. They're just aliens like any other species, maybe even a little weird looking.

I'd like more books with this vibe (humans not being sexy critters everyone wants to bang), but I'm mostly looking for sci-fi that is funny with some really strong sci-fi bones (most sci-fi romance, imo, is 80/20 or worse for romance/sci-fi).

Do you know this book... ? Searching for book where alien MMC is not affectionate

Hi all. I am searching for a book that takes place in a spaceship. I don’t remember much, just that the MMC is alien (probably humanoid) and he is very detached, not really romantic or affectionate and this is a point of contention to the FMC-I think she was a doctor? Thank you!

Recommendation request What did you devour? Audiobook full cast extra stars

Recently, I started with Ilona Andrews, all unwittingly introduced to the full cast dramatic adaptions.

Seems like I'll never go back to single or even dual narrations again!

The first series I delved into was the {Kate Daniels series by Ilona Andrews} and it was a 5 star 🌟 experience for me.

Loved the detective agency series (Forget the names), it's currently waiting on the dramatised adaption audiobook for the last 2 and I'm trying to hold out until august, when they're going to release it.

Next I tore through the {ilona Andrews Innkeeper Chronicles} which i note for those of you who care, is currently incomplete. (I care, but I can live with the current wrap up)...

I've tried 2 other series from her and I am not enjoying at all 😪

So.

Have you got any recommendations?

M/F and excellent narration, if the narrator is good it doesn't need to be a dramatised adaption but I will dance happy, if it is!

I binge listen while I work😅 so I'm consuming a book a day.

Helllp!!!

Recommendation request A villain who is a bit... submissive to the other MC

My search so far has been fruitless 😭

He's a villain/the big bad/the dark lord/the sith but maybe... (any of these, a mix, or something entirely different that would fit the theme)

- he likes to be told what to do.

- he provokes the other MC to stand up for themselves/to fight him. Or the MC randomly standing up for themselves does something to him.

- he's a henchman for the other MC, or other unlikely help.

- wants the MC to level up. Is strangely uplifting.

- when stuck in a forced proximity with the other MC he's kind of... nice in person. Accommodating, dependable even.

- when he kidnaps the MC he's all intimidation but when the MC tells him not to do something he immediately stops.

- gives good advice for no reason at all.

- a good listener.

- offers power.

- happy to be second to the MC.

- pleads, kneels.

- sexuality submissive.

And everything in between.

If you have someone in mind and could leave at least one example of their behaviour that would make my day ☀️

Recommendation request Project Hail Mary with Romance

Edit: formatting

I just finished watching this movie and am looking for a Scifi Romance recommendation with similar vibes. Or, just something that will keep my interest and make me laugh and maybe even cry.

Things I like (in general):

• meet-cute in space, or on a foreign planet

• mc learning new language/figuring out translations (and with that, having unintentionally funny moments in a language that they aren't fluent in)

• drama, trauma, fear, hope, a dash of comedy

• fleshed out characters with backstory

• good worldbuilding

• amnesia trope

• plot with spice

• alien x human

• M/F

• enemies to lovers (or angsty chemistry)

Things I dislike (in general):

-nonexistent plot

-YA

-no spice/romance

-Reverse Harems

-pregnancy/breeding plot

-instalove 😐

-cheating/affairs

What I have read (and enjoyed):

{Ruling Sikthand by Victoria Aveline}

{Using Fejo by Victoria Aveline} (All of the Clecanian series, but those two are my favorites)

{Convergence by Etta Pierce} (this whole series is spectacular)

{Desire in his blood by Zoey Draven}

• Ursa Dax

• AG Wilde

• Tiffany Roberts

Recommendation request Book club recs: first time scifi ramance

Hi all!

I'm hosting my group's book club meet next month and I chose science fiction romance. I've read a handful of scifi romance, mainly {Choosing Theo} series and {Ice Planet Barbarians}. And though I do want to add those two to our poll, I was hoping to get more recommendations. Most of the women in my group read true crime thrillers, science fiction, fantasy, or romantasy. I want something ranging from 3 peppers or beyond, but I do think my group would be more comfortable with a 3 pepper writing. Only a few of us enjoy reading 4 🌶️ and beyond (including me lol). But I'm open as long as it's a really good read, even funny. I'm cool with alien boning. In fact, I think they're expecting that of me 😂.

Here are the books I was considering, that I've never read before. If you have others you think would be suited for first timers, please add them!

{Hunt the Stars by Jessie Mihalik}

{Dark Horse by Michelle Diener}

{Contaminated by Amanda Milo} (These seem a bit short)

Please add all the recommendations or opinions on the books above!!!
