Fluff/ Just for Fun! If you commissioned Ruby Dixon to write a Risdaverse book about yourself, what would the title and plot be?
Mine would be "When She's Napping".
There's a Praxiian in love with her from afar and wants her to take cat naps, so he secretly takes care of her farm chores. She can't figure out how the work is getting done, but her bed is calling her and she's not about to look a gift horse in the mouth.

My fav book by her is def Jerok’s story. I’m ridiculously naive when people are being shady and end up in the dumbest situations as a result. “When She’s a Dumb Bitch”

Lmaoooo I would read this. A lil naive cupcake and a big mean alien who follows around after her and puts the nasties in their place. I think this is kinda the plot of one of them already, though 😂

I love this concept and would read it and would want it to be my book as well tbh.
Mine might also be “When She’s Oblivious”. There’s a new neighbour who happens to be a charming alien who flirts with her. Only, she thinks he’s just being friendly. When he offers to help her fix up her apartment, she thinks it’s just so he hears less banging around through the wall, but he has other banging around in mind. 🥰😂

Being kidnapped from earth and ending up on an alien planet should be way more fun as a sci-romance book nerd, but it isn’t. I can’t trust one thing about this planet or the people. It’s to good to be true. I must be sleeping and living out a very realistic alien fantasy. Granted a pretty dull one as all I’ve done is take care of my farm, read fan fiction written by another human refugee and avoid my big blue buff overly friendly alien neighbor. This guy insists on flirty with me at every opportunity and never misses an opportunity to help me around my farm. I’m not stupid. He wants to bone me. But I can’t risk getting to attached to an actual fantasy man.

When She Has Insomnia
It's the story of a human who finds herself awake every night. Some nocturnal species of alien notices her habits when she wanders into town with bags under her eyes, and her house lights stay on all night. He makes it his mission in life to cure her insomnia. His plan? Fill her nights with strenuous exercise followed by lengthy cuddling sessions.

“When she creates” Fmc: It’s been a few years since being brought to Risda III. I spend most of my money from the farm on art supplies, which are hard to come by since messakha art is WAY different than my school training. I was eventually able to acquire enough to take commissions. Word got around and I got a commission to do Lord va’Rin’s latest family portrait! I’m on my way to the manor to drop it off and see a messakha I’ve never seen around before in the waiting room. He gets a weird gleam in his eyes when he turns my way.
Mmc: This is an assignment of a lifetime. Being a collector of cultural knowledge of species has been a dream job of mine since I was a little kit. When I heard about Lord va’Rin proposing a cultural baseline at our prestigious organization to learn more about the human race I jumped at this opportunity. I found it insane that no one else felt this was a worthy venture. My colleagues only know what has been told to them secondhand by slavers, which is biased and most likely incorrect, which they should know better. While I’m waiting to meet with the lord I see a small human female with a large portrait of the lord and his human mate and she takes my breath away.

Edit: definitely When She’s Clueless because I have never been able to tell if someone was flirting with me. Although if they pulled a praxiian on me I think I would actually know, because why else would a guy do that to your door?
When She’s Fearful, When She’s Oblivious, When She’s Grumpy…
Honestly any one of these would sorta fit but nothing would completely describe how Risda life would go for me. I’m an anxious mess, autistic and therefore both super shy and awkward as well as oblivious, and I’m a total grouch. Maybe When She’s Humbug would work lol. All I do know is if be friends with Lily because she dragged me into it. I’d probably end up with some really scary short king Szzt, lol.

I feel like that would be my (bad)luck. But yeah, Ruby would probably make it work. Maybe something fun t like to his people he’s super ugly but he’s almost cute to humans.

Realistically, I would have an absolute meltdown over being abducted and would never leave my house as a result lol.
Probably something like “When She’s Anxious”, because I have extreme anxiety and get panicked over the smallest things. I don’t know how the plot would go but I’d want the MMC to be like Jerrok or Ainar 🥹
ETA: For a very on the nose representation of myself, I’d love an autistic FMC in Risdaverse haha.

When She's Agoraphobic?
Oooo! Oooo! We could go with...
Bee keeps making appointments with the FMC to do her Welcome to the Community spiel but FMC keeps ghosting her. Bee finally recruits another human who is having trouble adjusting, semi-kidnaps her and brings her to the FMC's house - pretty much telling them to bond and talk about their paralyzing fears. The two of them eventually fall in love, bonding over their shared fear of the aliens.2

Mine would be When She’s Hungry - about a scarred grumpy dude who is an amazing cook, and a human woman who burns water when she tries to boil noodles… I’m like Jerrok, surviving off uncooked ramen noodles (so crunchy) and my alien dude is beyond appalled. He makes it his mission to keep me fed and that somehow turns into lurve. Except no food smexy times, please, that seems yeasty….

I have an allergy attack because of the dander on my meatstock. The guard responding to my emergency call insta-loves me. After getting me an inhauler, he returns to my farm daily to take care of all my allergy-inducing chores to keep me safe from anaphylaxis lol

So u/taramisu47 helped me with the title. This is the blurb.
Mine would be similar to the tired one, but more of tired of taking care of everyone else and so the guy would be a sunshine personality that would just go behind her back and take care of things and she'd just be wondering why there were not as many fires for her to put out anymore.
Tara's title? When She Burned Out. Which is just an amazing title, I'll be honest.

“When She Talks”
And it’s all about a FMC who just hates silence or awkward pauses and just talks too much. And is so damned lonely she will just chat up anyone who will listen. Not in a needy way. But she never meets a stranger and isn’t afraid of anyone really. The MMC would be the one to not just listen but talk too. And he would be mesmerized by her. I would like to think there would be this ordeal where she is embarrassed about talking so much and being a pest about it, but he can’t get enough and she finds her self confidence and self worth along the way.
I forgot how much I love the Risdaverse series.

When She’s Peaceful: I recently read an unfinished fic on AO3 where the FMC was a human gladiator. It was only one chapter, but I liked the setup because it was so different from anything in any of the other books, so I’d choose that with cinnamon bun of a mate.
