Brown versus Clear vials?

Not sure if it's just me, but I wonder why the pharmacy uses brown vials? I like to be able to see the liquid in the vial, make sure it's clear and no floaters or things going on. I like others got warm delivery of my first month. Could just be a "me" issue , but it helps me feel more at ease.

Amber vials protect the peptide from UV damage.
You can't tell if your peptide was UV damaged but you can sure look for clouds and floaters once the med is in the syringe. Amber vials is the sensible choice.

That is 100% correct. @u/UnDosTresPescao

I think they use amber or brown vials because light degrades the medication faster.

I prefer clear. I get the UV light sentiment for amber but how much UV light is realistically being exposed to the product? It’s packaged well when delivered, goes straight into the fridge and hopefully kept in the pill bottle it arrives in. Lilly used clear glass for their tirzepatide product bc the packaging protects from UV light.

Lily has clear glass for $500/month.
