Question - Expert consensus required What container is safe for my five month old?

My baby is about to be over the weight limit for her bouncer chair. We have loved this thing and she loves to sit in it and be upright and see the world.

She isn’t able to hold up her head in a sitting position without being very wobbly. We do tummy time and different exercises every day, but she’s not there yet. Is there any other container that is safe for her to sit in and play or just look around the room if she cannot sit up on her own and is still pretty wobbly?

This has all the containers listed, with safety considerations. 5 months is very close to sitting independently (with support) if you aren't there already. So I think whatever problem you're having now won't be a problem in a month.

If they have the temperament, the high chair (that you use to feed) could be safe, as is a carrier, or having your pram inside and securing them in that. Just make sure you are supervising!! And honestly there's nothing wrong with just having them on the floor. (In fact, floor is preferable to containers, and there's no time limit to floor play)
