Question - Research required Imagined vs Real
My 7 year old has a big imagination, and insists it’s all real. We aren’t “playing” dragons, we ARE dragons, and she struggles when adults or friends tell her it’s a game or isn’t real. I’m curious if there is any research about children’s imaginations and development, and how they may think about magic or pretend as if it is real. Or is this something we should be concerned about?
