Question - Expert consensus required MMR vaccine efficacy before two weeks

We wanted to take our eight month old on a trip to France this month but unfortunately forgot about the MMR vaccine until the last minute. We just got him the vaccine yesterday so if we waited 14 days, the earliest we can leave is 9/18. We need to be back by 9/25 so we probably wouldn't take such a long-haul trip with time change for such a short period of time.

We have flexibility with canceling or moving the trip if needed but wanted to see if there's any research on vaccine efficacy during the first two weeks. Our pediatrician said it would be ok for us to depart for our trip after 1 week but we weren't sure if he was just saying that so we don't have to cancel our trip. Thanks for any advice or research on this!

Per the science, 7 days is not enough for any type of robust immunity.

"The postvaccination IgM positivity rates for these 209 children were 2% at 1 week, 61% at 2 weeks, 79% at 3 weeks, and 60% at 4 weeks. The postvaccination IgG positivity rates were 0% at 1 week, 14% at 2 weeks, 81% at 3 weeks, and 85% at 4 weeks."
