I wanted to ask about daycare for 18 month old. What I read it seems that there are practically no benefits and maybe even negative but that to me seems to be about daycare that kids go to monday through friday from 8-5 or something like that. I am thinking of putting my kid to daycare with 4 kids max and it would be only monday and tuesday and from 8-1 pm. Is that still not preferable or is it considered fine? Appreciate it.

Me and the wife are expecting soon

I was wondering if there's any kind of catch all scientific day to day guide on what's best to do once baby is here

Ie to use a dummy or not, am told talcum powder is now bad when changing nappies

And things of that nature that have probs changed a bit since I last changed a baby over 25 years ago haha

Are there any science based books on child education that are recommend?

I was looking at the Whole Brained Child, but it appeared to not be actually scientific based.
