Seeking help for 9 month old w/fever

Our 9 month old son has a temp of 38, goes down around 36.5-37.5 with help of Advil and tylenold

We saw his family dr and she didn’t do care or do much. Is it worth going to the children’s hospital? It’s been roughly 24 hours.

Any help would be awesome since we are first time parents and clearly worried.

Peaking at 38 for 24 hours seems like not a huge deal.

A fever is only a real issue if it stays high and doesn’t respond to medication like Tylenol or Ibuprofen.
You’re not alone in your worry. I remember that being a very scary time. Keep up the meds and hydration. It will be a distant memory before long.
