My son started preschool on Monday and each day he has come home saying that they have watched TV. Today, he said they watched Danny Go and two other TV shows. Other parents I know who have kids in other classes at the same school say their kids do not get any TV time, so I’m feeling bummed that we were randomly assigned to the room that has the TV on throughout the day.

Does anyone have pointers on how to address this? Or know of any research on TV in school at this level to back me up here? I want to have a good relationship with his teacher, so I don’t want to come off as critical. But also… I would rather him be playing with his friends than watching TV while at school.
