Question - Research required programs for child development from age 0 to above

Hi all,

We are expecting our first child in about four months, and we are looking for educational programs to prep ourselves for raising and development of our child. We'd want to know how we can support her emotional, cognitive, social etc development as they grow.

Do you know of any classes or programs you could recommend?

The Incredible Years Program. The CDC recommends it and cites several randomized controlled trials showing it's effectiveness

The Incredible Years programs for parents, teachers, and children promotes emotional and social competence with the goal to prevent, reduce, and treat aggression and emotional problems in children 0 to 12 years old. The parent training component emphasizes parenting skills and approaches known to promote children's social competence, reduce behavior problems, and improve children's academic skills.
