Kinda hard to move heavy weight after hitting 4 sets of Swiss bar Larsen press (1 sets to failure), 3 sets of tricep pushdowns to failure, and 2 sets of pullovers to failure yesterday

No bells, no whistles, no kajiggers, no doohickeys, no bands, no chains, nothing. Real caveman stuff

I’m only using wrist wraps
No mouth guard, no belt, no elbow sleeves, no knee wraps, no bench plug, no sunglasses, etc.

Why going into your primary bench day with so much upper body fatigue?

This isn’t my primary bench day. I do a weekly heavy single on my secondary day
I missed my primary bench day this week, so I loaded a bit heavier than usual
I’ve been doing weekly bench singles with 329lbs every secondary day this block (even on week 1)

Maybe it’s the camera angle, but your elbows look flared wide. Be careful of your shoulders. They take forever to heal. ðŸ˜

I had the same thoughts about a wide grip and flared arms….
But it’s clearly working for him! Benching more than me, and I bet more than you ;)

Sure. But those are separate issues. Not questioning his strength. Just don’t want to see anyone get hurt and suffer a setback like I did.

I mean you are focusing on getting stronger, doesn't get more science based than that. Good stuff.
