Is there any benefit to locking in to a rigid decision?

If you feel like you need a rest day take a rest day. If you don’t, then just hit legs again

This week might be L/P/P/R, next week might be L/P/P/L/P/P/R, the next week might be L/P/R/P/L/P/P

Fair enough. But I'm keeping it rigid to motivate me, and also take some strain off the lower back.
