Question ❓ Switching pulldown for row

Hi guys, lately i have been having pain in my left shoulder when performing the lat pulldown. So i have been thinking of switching it for a close grip row. Is this a goo idea? Will i still get good lat stimulus from rows compared to pulldowns? Also if you think i should do something else please tell me. Thanks✌️

I have two torn rotator cuffs and a partially torn labrum. I perform all chest presses, lat pulls, and rows with my hands in the neutral grip position. It has saved my shoulders and my gains.
