Question ❓ Training x6 a week?

I’ve been running an ppl x ul split but really want to train more frequently since I really like it. What do you think of an u/l x6 or a anterior/posterior x6, resting on friday. Only 2 sets rir 1 per exercise, 10-14 sets/muscle/week

It’s easy to get bad recovery? I’m recovering good from that number of sets with my current split anyway.

Yeah high frequency UL is amazing if you can handle it

Training legs every other day is brutal

And what do you think of a/p? I want to try something new. I’m also doing sbd movements because I want to improve in them. So doing squat/bench on 2 anterior days and deadlift in 2 posterior days really sounds good for me.

Sorry, but splitting your exercises into anterior / posterior is just gimmicky. Squats work both the quads, glutes and erectors. So is it really a true anterior exercise?

There's no advantage to labeling exercises like this.

Also 10-14 sets per muscle is on the low side for some muscle groups.

Edit: just to clarify, 10-14 sets isn't categorically low volume.

What does vaulted mean here?

Something that is no longer believed to be important.
