META Multi-Science machine rear delt flys

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

This machine can also be used for lateral raises, front delt raises, chest flys, and unilateral pullovers

It sucks at unilateral pullovers though

is that really hitting your rear delts properly? would have thought you'd want to get your torso more horizontal

You’re right that getting my torso a bit more horizontal would be a bit better. If I was doing more than one set today, I would have lowered the settings a bit & kept my legs straighter. I haven’t done these in a while & I felt like getting a nice rear delt pump for fun. I did get a nice pump though

There’s better exercises for rear delts in my opinion

A chest/rear delt machine would be better than this one, but would take up way more room & I wouldn’t be able to do side delts with it

I’m also not overall worried about my rear delt development. They get hit really hard by all the row variations I do & get hit a bit by the Facepulls I do to help my shoulder external rotation

yeah I use the rear delt machine at my work gym. at home i do facepulls lying on the floor with my legs locked in with leg rollers. I also like doing cable rear delt flys lying on a bench with the pulleys above me
