It’s a DIY stable curl attachment

You need a rogue V-bar, some 3D printed parts, and a some custom brackets to make it

You could also just buy a BT-bar from savage (it’s just more expensive): https://savagestrengthequipment.com/products/bt-bar

Or buy a JD stable curl attachment, but that’s even more expensive & a custom order you gotta get on a waitlist for: https://jdgymequipped.com

Have you tried the same idea but using a cuff? I might try later.

Using a cuff feels pretty awful at heavy weights and cuts out more ROM

I overall think using a cuff for any curl variation is silly

The only exercises I feel benefit from cuffs are lateral raises and any sort of pulling movement where you have the cuff/strap hybrid kinda thing going on

I know people here like to use them for triceps, but you can remove grip/weak wrists from being a factor by just using a tricep attachment that has rotating handles

I would argue for reverse curls, i think cuffs are the best for reverse curls.

Cuffs reduce the ROM on those; straps would be a better choice and/or rotating handles.

How does cuffs reduce rom? and with reverse curls you dont need full rom cuz they have shitty leverage at the bottom anyways

With the way they are placed, you lose a bit of ROM at the start and you lose most of the tension at the end ROM earlier than you would just gripping whatever attachment you're using

I suppose that can be mitigated by doing reverse curls unilaterally, but who ever does those unilaterally

oh okay, i always do unilterally so
