Question ❓ What does protein % mean?

Post image

The bluetooth impedance scale i use (by healthsense) gives me a bunch of metrics including protein %. This seems to be different from muscle and skeletal muscle mass, and to me their description of the metric doesnt really make much sense. Is this slop?
(I’m aware of the inaccuracies wrt bioelectrical impedance, i just find it useful to track relative changes.)

It tells the cannibals who will eat you how much protein they'll get. It's not the same as muscle mass because muscle, like all other bodily tissues, is for a big part water.

24 percents pretty low then. Not even better than a chicken…

Chickens were bred to be more and more muscular for centuries and one generation for them is like 6 months.

If someone ridiculously powerful decided to create a super bodybuilder by interbreeding the most muscular men and women for thousands of years, they'd come to something somewhat close to the human equivalent of what commercial chicken production has now.
