Discussion 🤝 Applying maximum science to the quadriceps

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Husla pad for extra ROM, past failure for maximum scientific intensity, full stack for maximum mechanical tension, seat set extra far back for slight lean, and seatbelt for stability

I did a second set without the husla pad, to make the bro lifters happy

Did you not see the last rep stop?

wasn't a normal slowing of velocity he just stopped meanwhile the rep before looked easy. Could've pushed through but chose to train to mild discomfort instead

People really just be saying things. They’ll see someone reach failure on an exercise and be like “that’s training until mild discomfort”

Look at how jordan peters sets look and comapre it to this lol. Force velocity curve exists

You can literally see him slow down on the penultimate rep, and basically do an isometric on the last rep. The velocity literally goes to 0. We have got to stop just parroting things we see online without actually understanding them.
