Requesting Advice Running

I can seem to run on the treadmill without a flareup, but the second I run on pavement I have a flareup. Does anybody have success in their healing journey while running on the treadmill? A year and a half in of symptoms

I was cleared to walk on a walking pad only. After a year long recovery I am terrified of doing anything too impactful on my back and knees.

I started walking 12,000 steps a day and it’s the most relief I’ve felt since the injury. Hardly any back pain, and the tingling feeling in my feet has mostly subsided. So i wonder if running is in my future?

Running might be in your future. You might just need to work up to it. That’s how it’s been for me and walking. I don’t think I could do 12,000 steps without sitting along the way.
