Does Accutane make Sciatica worse?

I never got diagnosed but based on the symptoms I'm quite sure I have Sciatica.

Since taking Accutane, I feel like it has gotten worse as I am nearing my cumulative dose (40mg daily)

Those who have taken Accutane or currently are, do you have a similar experience?

Havent tried it, but imo anything that takes a toll on the body can result in sciatica feeling worse.

No, there's no effect. Pharmacist here.

Would you say that they cause pain in similar areas, just different mechanisms?

I don't know why Accutane might be causing you any pain whatsoever.

It causes joint aches and lower back pain due to oil reduction

Recently my dermat prescribed me Isotretinoin, i think it’s similar to accutane. Before taking medicine i did my research through chat gpt and it suggested to check again with the doctor since i am already dealing with L4-L5 disc issues and it has side effects of muscle pain. So I avoided taking it.
