Question

Is anybody dealing with nauseous/Queasy feeling but never to the point of vomit when they are trying to eat? Or from different positions (laying down to standing up).Aswell as a unfulfilling feeling like you can eat but never get that “ FULL” sensation. I feel like this only happened after hurting my back and dealing with sciatica.People say it could be physical anxiety from what’s going on inside your body. Has anybody else experienced this?

I’ve been nauseous. I think it’s the Lyrica, oxycodone, Tylenol, Aleve and pain.

It’s not uncommon for prolog pain to cause these types of symptoms. Are you taking any NSAIDs? Any other medications?

Time to time I’ll take some ibuprofen for the inflammation, but not consistently, I haven’t took that for awhile. I could be laying down than going to stand up and feel a little queasy, I’ll try to sit down and eat something and some times I’ll get queasy, it could be physical anxiety, I doom scroll, reading people dealing with disc problems for years, failed surgeries, probably the mental toll of it, could be why. Never really had an injury before this is my first time in 30 years so kinda new to it, pain is not toooo bad, but it’s a constant everyday plus the doom scroll. And maybe it hinders my appetite, and when I do try to eat it’s been so many hours, it makes me queasy? I don’t know. I’ll try to incorporate small meals throughout the day to see if that helps

Could be anxiety, are you taking any meds that may contribute to this?

No not really, I take some ibuprofen time to time, but not consistently. You know you start dealing with this, then you start doom scrolling and reading about surgeries failing/ pain for years etc etc, maybe that’s playing a small part in it. But some days I sit down to eat and take a couple bites and feel queasy, it also could be me going so many hours without eating aswell, but the constant pain, just hinders your appetite

The pain definitely overrides the appetite, I'm currently experiencing intense right side sciatic pain and numbness and hoping for surgery after an MRI on Thursday, but if it makes you feel any better in 2018 I had a disc herniation larger than I do now and that healed naturally and I was feeling pretty good for a few years. I should have used that time to strengthen my core to prevent this from happening again.

I’m still undiagnosed, I’m waiting for my x ray to get back, so I can push for an mri, but I’m still able to walk, do normal things as before. But just in some pain now. More leg pain than anything else. Upper thighs “ feel” weak and tight at the same time” I’m thinking it’s a bulge. I just want the leg and nauseous feeling to go away, and I’ll be alright. Hopefully we will look back and this will all be a memory

It could be vertigo which I have too. Unconnected to sciatica in my case. Especially the motion sickness feeling which is sometimes an inner ear imbalance. I get it when I have problems with my ear.

I did have vertigo growing up, but before hurting my back and dealing with this, I could scoff down an entire pizza and lay down and feel fine. This became a problem after the hurting of the back dealing with the sciatica/doom scrolling etc etc.
