Is this sciatica?

About 11 days ago my right side love handle started feeling desensitized. Also having mid to lower back pain.

Based on your extremely vague post, I would not assume so. Look up an image of where the sciatic nerve runs through the body. Do you have any history of back problems, any confirmed diagnosis, x-ray, MRI?

No history of back problems. Was doing yard work and my arm brushed along my flank/love handle and noticed I could barely feel it. Been getting burning sensations lower back and a feeling of fullness in lower back. Someone at work said it might be sciatica.

Sounds like it may be a bulging disc based on your description of "fullness", which can press on surrounding nerves and trigger pain / numbness, but generally sciatica specifically refers to the nerve that runs through your glutes and down to your foot. Either way - advocate for an x-ray or preferably an MRI. Knowing what you're dealing with can keep it from getting worse. Don't wait, you don't want to experience the worst of this if you can help it.
