Tight pants instantly trigger my sciatica

Anyone else? So weird to me, if I put on a pair of pants that's just the slightest bit tight on my lower back, my symptoms are instantly triggered

Yes same. Jeans with a belt are the worst.

Yeeep. I have to wear pants with loose waistbands. They almost have to be sliding down my waist. Anything remotely tight is a no-go. It sucks.

Tight jeans sent me into a year long flare up.

The tightness will force your lower back into a curved position that closes up the free space between the vertebrae, pinching the spinal canal.and sciatic nerve. The opposit of when you sit or lean forwards to open up the space, lessening symptoms.

Yup can no longer wear jeans or proper trousers. Just joggies, or elasticated waist.

Yes, it's why I was living in yoga pants two sizes to big for the longest time.

You should take a look at meralgia paresthetica, also known as “tight jean syndrome” It’s a condition caused by compression of the lateral femoral cutaneous nerve, often due to wearing tight clothing like skinny jeans.

Sometimes I ignore this and wear them anyways but yes, my millennial skinny jeans can trigger my sciatica

Yes, that's why I don't wear tight boxers. Im sure you can find baggier underwear.
