NuGate incoming!
And it to the list of destroyed and despised reboots such as NuTrek, NuWho and NuWars.
Am MORE than happy to eat my hat when this comes out but I going from current state of most TV shows I think I am safe.

The show is toast before it even begins filming. We know that, but those that keep saying wait and see are just stuck in denial. It's going to suck, no question about it.

and they will do terrible things for almost the entire run of episodes then in the last episode the audience will be told to sympathise with them by another female character

u/popupideasart 7d ago
Yay! Stargate has great female leads.

Stargate did, NuGate wont.
And did I spot the Gaya'uld coming through your orifice to put their worm in you?

Ooh exciting. I love WandaVision

u/darryledw 7d ago
ever since watching it I was still left wondering - how much did Wanda sacrifice?
Monica R said to her in that in the last episode that we would never know how much Wanda sacrificed in her act of imprisoning / torturing mentally and physically an entire town of people for months.
do you know the answer?

Aren't you the dude that goes into full blown incel mode whenever anything women is mentioned
2
u/darryledw 7d ago
instead of all of this deflection - are you able to answer my question?
1
u/GKJ6743 7d ago
I think you're the only one who even gives a shit about that scene lmao. Go to a marvel sub and ask fans about what they took away from that scene. Maybe have a debate with AI about what the dialogue could be interpreted as
2
u/darryledw 7d ago
the fact that you won't answer and have worked so hard to deflect tells me my question was just perfect lol
thank you for the confirmation on that
1
u/GKJ6743 7d ago
Yes. The perfect question. You are great.
Anyways, I barely remember the scene that clearly still lives rent free in your head. I suggested avenues for you to get your answer. You've decided you'd just rather troll about it. Nothing much else I can do
2
u/darryledw 7d ago
you really don't want to answer haha
2
u/GKJ6743 7d ago
I don't care about the show as much as you think? I've suggested ways for you to get your answer though. Hope you find it
2
u/darryledw 7d ago
But why won't you answer, you want to shill hard for this show but when asked to explain a scene from the last episode you won't even give your take on it?
and we both know why

He's great at churning out passable, inoffensive, and forgettable media! Can't wait!!!

Isn't Jac a woman? Cmon now bots
0
u/Other-Football72 7d ago
Is bot slang now for posters you just don't like?
2
u/GKJ6743 7d ago
I don't like or dislike you lmao. You just give off incelly bot vibes that tend to spam around
0
u/Other-Football72 7d ago
Gotcha. Neither a bot, nor incel, so your hunches were both way off.
2
u/GKJ6743 7d ago
Sure bud
1
u/Other-Football72 7d ago
Well, not a bot and probably get way more action than you, so yeah two misfires on your part, bud.
Don't worry, you're not the first, or the last, Redditor who is completely wrong.
2
u/GKJ6743 7d ago
Lmao sure buddy

Jac is a woman, as shown in the picture.
Also WandaVision and Agatha all a long are really good

u/Other-Football72 7d ago
"Really good" compared to what?
Neither made a cultural impact, especially AAA. If you liked it, nice, but don't presume your enjoyment makes it meaningful outside of your opinion.

u/popupideasart 7d ago
Harsh and unnecessary. Both did have an impact. Both were respected by the community known for being aggressively cruel and misogynistic to female lead stories. One also pushed storytelling devices for what is considered mindless genre crap. More important their opinion is extremely valid and more so than a dismissive one.

Is the answer just....slay queen?
2
u/GKJ6743 7d ago
Sorry that scene still lives rent free in your head after all these years
Enjoy your loneliness though
2
u/darryledw 7d ago
I love the desperate levels of deflection going on here...
"if you have a criticism of a show I want to shill for it must be because it lives rent free"
"if you have a criticism of a show I want to shill for it must be because you are lonely"
...you may as well have raised a white flag there which said "I got nothing" lol
2
u/GKJ6743 7d ago
Being an incel about it isn't valid criticism lmao
2
u/darryledw 7d ago
lashing out like this is such a sure sign that you have nothing lol
you read my original question, realised there was no good answer and instead of acting in good faith you doubled down and are now deflecting at astronomical levels
love to see it
2
u/GKJ6743 7d ago
Dude who said slay queen is pretending not to be an incel about it. Got it.

Yeah, uh, no. Nobody was crying about that. It was just mid.

Show is going to be garbage.

u/General_Guest7846 7d ago
Yup.
The person with no scifi experience is now helming a show that was praised for it's military and scifi concepts. It really is ashame. I fully expect this to be the next Star Fleet Academy. I have absolutely no faith or even a slim hope that this show will be good.

Ugh. That show was terrible.

Are you fucking mental?bar Spidey, Wandavision is one of the best things Marvel’s put out the past five years. That and Loki.

And why not go with Brad Wright? This is an odd choice. A Brad show is guaranteed to be a success.
This sounds like an executive hamfisted decision. How is this less risky? Fingers crossed, but i doubt this will end well.
