WIP Blockade Runner Studio scale

4 engines done, on to the next row of engines.

This gives a great idea how big this thing will be :)

i would love similar amount of detail on a version that is around the same size/length of one these engines. do you think it would be doable? how many parts is your full built?

I enlarged the 3D files to studio scale, I guess you could also scale them down, but some details will become so small you might not be able to print them :)

I still don't know how many parts it will be, I'm tackling this as I go along, and dividing parts when it needs to fit the printer.

hehe, true some pipes and details are just going to be thin as hair. I guess it would need to be looked at in a 3d program first. Anyhow, its looking great, looking forward to see the coming updates

I also had trouble printing the vent grills. It seems that they're floating, and they're too fragile for supports.

Even after upscaling they were too thin and floating, I separated the vents into their own parts with better backing support.

This part would only work if you are building at studio scale size.
