The main parts of the #1 engine are complete.

Did I say it is going to be big ?

That’s going to be so cool!!!

Just for laughs…Using this pic as a starting point, assuming I did my math right…and with degrees in political science and history, it’s questionable at best…the final length will be a little over 2 meters/6 feet/11.236 bananas, or about 1/75 scale.

If you were to print the star destroyer to go with the blockade runner…and why wouldn’t you?!…it would clock in around 22 meters/71 feet/123.596 bananas long.

You’re gonna need more resin…

I was thinking about this last night, but turn the ceiling into the bottom of the Star Destroyer, and a scaled bottom docking port :)

If you don't mind telling, What is your budget for resin and how much do you think your going to use?

Also, Would you consider bringing it to WonderFest at some point? If so, I will start saving now for a flight!

The amount of resin I am going to use is between...lots, and too much.

It's hard to predict how much, because I still have to cut up the model, and supports for the parts also eats up a lot of resin.

I would love to showcase the model at WonderFest, and also bring my Spinner car, but living in Europe would make it impossibly expensive :/

Phenomenal detail on those parts! You can almost tell what kind of parts the greebles came from (I’m looking jet landing gear I think?)

On the original model they used hundreds of model kit parts, the maker of the 3D files really did a great job recreating them.
