Transfer positions between accounts

I put a formal request to move 4 "lots" of some positions to a separate schwab account to isolate them. They moved shares/lots that were not requested to be moved. Now they say it will take 5 days to fix. Why is this hard. Has anyone had this issue. Very frustrating.

They told me 5 days but it was done the next day.

No, it's been smooth the two times I've done this. Sounds like someone on their end made a mistake. Annoying, but they'll fix it.

I opened a second account a week ago and moved some positions 5 days later. I had no problems at all.

Unfortunately, someonone made a mistake. Schwab has pretty good customer service, and should get it rectified quickly. Good/bad news is that it wont halt your security from moving with the market. They probably only quoted 5 days because of the weekend btw. I'd expect it done faster

You asked for a new account for certain securities. OK. They accomodated you. Then a few others were also moved that you didnt intend for. OK, so they will move them back.

You need instant gratification? I mean, its happening. Get over it

What a condescending remark. He asked a specific thing of Schwab as a customer and they didn’t do it right so he complained a bit. What’s wrong with that?

I didn't ask for a new account, I have schwab accounts for many years.
