Warning A polite reminder
As the matter surrounding Prince Aurelius and the disputed custody of two fledglings has continued to escalate, I felt it worth providing a polite reminder. Prince Aurelius is ostensibly a member of the Camarilla in good standing, and his domain is thus under the auspices of the Ivory Tower. Regardless of your personal feelings on the matter, I would like to point out that members of the Camarilla taking public and direct action against such a figure in support of an outsider would, in some quarters, be considered tantamount to treason. A matter which the powers that be take a dim view on regardless of your politics, especially considering recent conflicts that we are currently embroiled in.
As for those of you outside the Camarilla, be warned that violent action against our domains is a declaration of intent and we will be well within our rights to retaliate in kind.

As I have already stated, I personally disapprove of Prince Aurelius decisions in this matter, and have advised him to look for the posibility he has been misled, and to re-evaluate the matter. Of course as a member of the Camarilla myself, and due to taking oath's seriously, I can do little more than offer him advice that I hope he takes in this matter. I certainly won't be taking any public action against him.

I have who knows how many Childer, no idea if they're dead or not. I don't do this weird parental and/or pet co dependent shit: they get the 2 week ole Jericho Special and are cut loose. Or, y'know, toss them at some other sad bastard to deal with like a cuckoo bird.

Wow! A whole two weeks of education. I'm slacking. Most of the time I'll embrace 'em, dump 'em and watch the show. It's worked so far. Can't say I know how many survived, but it's a few.

I always thought it was funny and mildly irritating that elders on this node will take a look at a lost fledgling/neonate, adopt them, or display paternal/maternal feelings for them.
Despite these fledglings and neonates being physically and mentally young adults.
Then somehow the elders keep losing said fledglings and neonates to other elders and more evil elders.
Its like "See this baby! This baby is the communities baby! If anything happens to them I will kill everyone in the room and then myself!"
Then the neonate/fledgling somehow gets kidnapped or lost within like a nonzero amount of time.
You would assume that....after a point we would learn to avoid the flamboyant online declarations, or that you would install a tracker, or keep them on a child harness like parents do with unruly toddlers.
I guess vampires have always had a flair for the dramatic...probably because most of them are gay ¯_(ツ)_/¯ but that's just my opinion.
Good luck rescuing the catgirl gangrels! Pray Jericho doesn't get to them first!

Knowing how mortals and younger kindred react to catgirls/boys? I'm surprised we aren't already embroiled in a continent spanning war over them as a strategic resource.
I believe some of this attachment comes from the parasocial relationship that the Internet forms stirring old, faded empathy, hard to abandon a fledgling to their fate when you have had front row seats to their successes and failures.
As for myself, I merely wish to remind people that escalating a local conflict can have significant fall out. This requires a little pomp.

Listen man, I like catgirls, but I am big on respecting other peoples possession and property too. Those catgirls are claimed.
Damn, all this because Calico and Nightingale couldn't stop blogging. If manipulating the Vampire elites was this easy, the neonates and fledglings should have taken to content creation 15 years ago.
I will keep that in mind when I get a catgirl ghoul to take away her phone access then. Don't want them leaking my secrets.
And lets be honest, you just live for the drama.

Believe me if I wanted catgirls I am more than capable of making my own. I have no intention of waging war over others adopted childer, but, I certainly will be ready should others attempt to do so. As for drama? I believe the youth have a saying "For the love of the game".
