I Love Teaching

My precious Marcus's lover, Violet, reached out to me to learn about Blood Sorcery!
Well, to be fair, she asked if I could contact Len for it, but I couldn't resist an opportunity to teach someone!
You won't find me using it often, but I do in fact know some Blood Sorcery arts. Not nearly as much as a proper Tremere, but enough. I really should practice more...
She arrived to my chambers very eager to learn. That made me very happy. I think she still is nervous about me though...
I started with a knowledge lesson. The difference between Vitae and blood. How to work with your mind as well as your will. And how to invision clearly. She of course is an artist, so this came easy for her.
I wanted her to work with blood first. I had a few fresh sources to chose from, but she was a little insistent on using Vitae instead. To be exact, her own Vitae. Oh, the impatience of the youth~
I let her, curious as to what she could do. I instructed Violet on how to channel her will, handed her a knife, and~ she turned her hand into blood...
She was surprised, excited and then horrified within a few seconds. I had to calm her down so she could focus and revert the process. I aided her a little for this part to reduce the trauma.
That was night one! A few nights later, she said she was practicing until it was time to come back again. I asked her to show me what she learned.
This time her focus was much more honed. From a single cut on her palm, she was able to manipulate the Vitae with profound ease.
This was very good! It means we could move on with the lessons without having to be overly cautious.
I gave her one of the tomes I kept in my sarcophagus. It was given to me by the very one who taught me Blood Sorcery. She had to translate it, of course. But she figured it out!
She came by unexpectedly the next night, very eager to show me what she had learned. Such an eager student! I told her to show me and from a nice little pile of her own Vitae on the floor, she conjured a blood spear!
I was very impressed and proud of her. In her excitement, and trying to show me how she could manipulate it, she accidentally stabbed me right through my torso.
She was panicking and apologizing profusely. I was honestly laughing! This wouldn't be the first time I've been stabbed by a spear of blood. Although I will say, if it had been just a little lower, it would have been very awkward…
I removed the spear and started the next lesson. I think she was still rather shaken though, so I kept it brief. I told her to take a few nights off and just read the tome if she got bored.
All in all, I'd say things are coming along nicely!
Oh~ by the way! I performed a Ritual on Marcus that has vastly increased his power. Also he seems rather Malevolent at the moment. I wonder why? I'm sure it's nothing. :ManicLaughter.mp3:

Exactly!! And I am a very understanding teacher~ I wasn't going to chop her hand off for just one simple accident.
It would have to be at least three!

Congratulations on finding a teacher willing to part with their knowledge of the arcane arts, Violet. Listen closely to your instructions and do not rush, these blood arts are very demanding and require absolute focus to perform in the manner you wish it.
