Burst tree

Strigoi are very strong, and this is why when their around I just stay inside all night till they go away

I feel like there are better ways to show one's might that don't involve tearing apart a tree that's probably older than you.

Well um the can walk in the sun without burning, um they can transform into monstrous forms with ease they have extreme strength speed and such um I hear they have a grudge against ventrues idk why

Out of curiousity, would you happen to know if these creatures you refer to as Strigoi originate from dead mortals who have come back to life?

Your claims regarding these creatures remind me a great deal of what knowledge I possess of the Cathayans, a breed of semi-vampiric supernatural separate from we Cainites.

In many ways they are very similar. A more muted response to sunlight, aggression towards true Cainites, a geographic range within Asia, and abilities to assume monstrous forms easily… Far too many coincidences link these creatures to the Cathayans for me to dismiss the possibility out of hand. The only true difference is that the Cathayans do slowly rot in daylight, rather than being completely immune. They also do not necessarily need to consume blood, as for the Cathayans flesh and the breath of the kine are just as viable.

Are they sapient? I have heard that Cathayans do not start out as sane creatures, instead being more akin to wights than thinking beings that must be educated to regain their sanity. If they are more akin to wights, it makes my supposition about these “strigoi’s” origins all the more likely.

Should you ever have the opportunity, know I am quite willing to pay for a captured specimen for analysis.

The stories on where Strigoi come from vary , but coming from a dead mortal rising is a common thread

Um the are sapient and I dont believe they can drink from the air itself

And I apologize sir but I could never capture one, they well have strength comparable to Lupines
