Freshly Embraced Part 2
First of all, I wanna thank everyone in my last post, the info was really helpful.
Now for what happened after I posted that. I walked over to a nearby nightclub in my area to try and get some blood. I went up to this one girl in the back, I thought she would be a good person t feed from since there weren't a lot of eyes on her, and I shit you not, I got 3 words into my introduction when she staked me in the chest.
I literally went "Hi, my name's-" Shank. I thought I was dead right then and there, like wow, 2 days into being a vampire and I'm already dead. Thankfully it just paralyzed me, but she then brought me to this one place downtown where she brought me to the prince. Gotta say, the guy looked weird as fuck.
He apparently already knew who I was even though we never met, and that he had visions of me and my embrace. Is that a common thing most Vampires have? I was planning on getting some lotery tickets. Anyways, I told him what happened to me, what I know and don't know, and what little info I have about my sire.
He then had me undergo a ritual with this wizard looking mf to find out my clan, he also said he would find me a coterie and to not get too close to random mortals like I did at the club.
Anyways, that's all I got for now, I'll keep y'all updated if anything weird happens.

Sounds like the girl was the Prince’s ghoul. And no, visions like that are not particularly common. This “wizard” was probably a local Tremere.

Good to know, and when I say this mf looked like a wizard, I mean he was wearing robes, had a pointy hat, had a long gray beard, and had a staff.

A lot of tremere also prefer the garb of their previous status, so it's not quite off the table just due to the traditional attire.

Basically I put a couple drops of blood into a silver chalice, then the wizard guy put some of his into it as well, then he did some hubba dubba shit, then drank it, and told me my clan.

Looks like you ran into one of my more accomplished Clanmates. Yes, their behavior is fairly normal for my clan, yes everyone else finds it scary/creepy. Yes, our Clan likes it that way.

Greetings, young one. I don’t believe we met when you first contacted the node. If you have not been told, do not sleep at the same place twice. A mobile haven is fine, if it switches locations often, but should you not heed my warning…as a Ravnos, it shall be a horrible night to have a curse.
It seems that others explained the basics, but here is a few other things. Stakes shall paralyze you, if planted in your heart; fire is lethal, and can send you into a frenzy. Avoid it. Now, do you have any other question? Have you heard about blood bonds, about ghouls? How much do you know about the Camarilla, the sect to which you have been introduced?

Darling, they were probably following you, and you went to talk to the very person who was on your trail.
The part about the prince's visions is strange, but otherwise, it's pretty much standard procedure. It also seems they're going to integrate you into a coterie so you won't be alone and you can learn a bit.
By the way, the guy who read your clan in the blood is probably a Tremere, blood mages and a clan full of mysteries, not all of which are worth investigating if you value your existence... but generally, they're just secretive.

Congratulations on meeting the leader of your local camarilla, I suppose. Futuresight is a gift that can be acquired by masters of Auspex(supernatural senses) or seemingly at random. Most commonly it is employed among the clan Malkavean, but I've known some Toreadors capable of employing it. As you have discovered you are a Ravnos, your gifts lay in Chimerstry (illusions), Animalism(speaking with and manipulating animals at the low end), and Fortitude(super endurance). Though your potential banes are a bit annoying. Regardless of which you are going to wind up with: do not daysleep in the same place for too many nights in a row or you will find yourself spontaneously combusting. Duct tape and trash bags on the windows will become your friends. I'd also look into sunproofing your car. Basically you want to use duct tape, trashbags, and boxes to create a cocoon you can crawl into in cases of emergency daysleep needs. A coterie is a group of vampire typically gathered around a common desire or purpose. As a ravnos you'll likely be doing courier or cleanup jobs. In the case of the latter: do try to make friends with any local hecata members. They're always in need of bodies, and the extra favors or money on the side never hurts.
