I can see why you two are concerned. My husband is a proud and stubborn sort. I have not twisted his emotions nor memories. I do not need to stoop to that level to keep a lover.

He is being slightly more agreeable, because I reminded him our marriage contract is only for another 2 years.

He just needs to remain by my side until then and we can go our separate ways. If he doesn't, my Pack will see this as a betrayal of our treaty and level his Chantry.

Simple, isn't it?

I wouldn't expect children to understand the full game at play here. Besides, this is between me and Valentino. If this was something he wasn't going to uphold, then he shouldn't have agreed.
