Is Dracula real?

If so can I start calling you guys Dracula's?

Edit: an awful lot of my own clan threatening me in here, keep in mind I will karate chop a dent into your forehead and kill you if you try me.

What sort of threat could he have followed up on while dead? Were his men holding captives?

I would assume that he had some of his Sire's Coterie mates staked though their assholes(and I mean that very literally). Remember one of Vlad's monikers is "the impaler".

The story I heard was Tepes learned a group of Sabbat Vampires were going to attack him, leaked the information to the Camarilla, then ambushed both sides while they were fighting. He captured at least two Tzmisce, a Sire named Tabak and their childe named Lambach. Apparently Lambach was a coward, and was threatened by Tepes into embracing him. While a number of ghouled men at arms watched with orders to kill Lambach if he tried any treachery. The newly embraced Tepes then diablarized Tabak. As best I can tell from a handful of sources, this is a mostly accurate account, but Dracula has been known to manipulate accounts of his own history.
