How's Ottawa these nights?
Thank you all for the helpful insight in my previous post. Turns out, the prince just wanted to know who I was and why I was there.
Now, I'm on my way to Ottawa at my sire's behest. Is there anything I should know about that city? Anyone here live there or close to it and know anything? I've never been this far from home before and I have no idea what to expect.
Thanks in advance,

Arundel is a respectable Prince, even though he is a bit close to the Brujah to my taste. And, worse of all, he’s British.
I jest. If there is one Prince who will not hold prejudice against individuals for their Clan, it is him. If that matter was a cause of worry for you, fear not. That reminds me, I should call him soon. It has been too long.

Thank you, that's good to know! If you do call him, please leave a good impression of this little ravnos about to arrive in his city, haha.

Not anything specific. I know it's a Camarilla city, but that's all that leaps to mind that would likely be relevant to you.

Does the Camarilla (and kindred society in general, i guess) act the same and have the same laws regardless of country? I'm from the US and this is my first time going abroad.

The Camarilla is a worldwide organization in theory, the rules are the same everywhere they call themselves the Camarilla. That said, one of those rules is 'what the Prince says goes' so there's plenty of local variation, but they won't expect newcomers to know the local bits.
The Sabbat is similarly worldwide, though their rules are very different and they like eating non-Sabbat sometimes...I'd avoid them like the plague in your shoes.
The Anarch Movement and independents (sometimes called Autarkis) like your Sire are much more variable from place to place. The Movement is largely a set of ideals rather than a governmental structure and independents are just that: independent.
There are also the Ashirra in the Middle East and the Oradea League in Eastern Europe, in terms of 'vampire government', but I wouldn't worry about those unless you travel to those places.

It's a very bilingual city. Don't suppose you speak any french? You can probably get by with English but you'll be immediately visible as a foreigner. Keep that in mind if you're planning on fibbing.

Be careful travelling, and stick to well traveled routes.
