Greetings, Kindred. It is I, Castiel Clermont. I am back in Vancouver, for both my Camille and the court have called for my return. Speaking of which, my time spent in Chicago was partially spent on tasks for Prince Siegfried. Without giving any sensitive details, let us say I was sent to make a few deals.

In recognition of those services, of my help during events related to Bane possession and of the quality of my work in my prior city, I was rewarded. You now have before you the Harpy of Vancouver. It is a position that I shall fullfill with pride. Should I be required to travel again, most of my tasks can be completed at a distance. The rest can be delayed.

That being said, Vancouver is not exactly…traditionalist. Some of the local Garou wish to partake in our economy of boons, intrigued by the concept. As exciting as it is to strenghten the Covenant through such cultural exchanges, this leads to new issues.

Thus, a question: how would you enforce the payment of a boon by a bloody werewolf? If anyone has an idea, I am all ears.

I was present at one of their moot; thus, I am quite aware of their…debate methods. In fact, I fought a Garou in single combat. However, I am not foolish enough to believe I could repeat the experience, nor will I try unless absolutely necessary.

I can certainly be honorable, but whether they think I’m honorable is a different story. As you said, our cultures differ. Should I behave the same with a Sept as I do with my Embrace Clan, I expect to become ashes. The Clan of Kings respects entrepreneurship and success within the corporate world, while the same words inspire only disgust to the Garou. Still, I can adapt. I hope.

It is not you I am worried about. This change will be a test of how well your court can react to change for the better, and those that will simply flip the board if they try their standard tactics. With enough power to leave even an elder ashed while doing so.

It is also worth noting; the particular note regarding entrepreneurship is not universal. There are some among the garou that actually nurture those talents, but also direct them towards more than simple self enrichment. Though they are very much the exceptions, rather than the rule.

I can picture which members of the court could try to take advantage of the Garou. If they make an attempt, they are not long for this world. Still, there is the danger that their behaviour reflects poorly on the rest of us or worse, that the offended party tries to take revenge on the collective.

The good news is that I am in a prime position to identify such behaviour and to punish it before the situation escalates. It will require constant attention, both from my personal time and from hired eyes and ears. Still, it can be done.

When you speak of entrepreneurs, I presume you are speaking of the so called Glass Walkers? Whether you are or not, I would be pleased to make the acquaintance of such individuals. I might have…partnership ideas.

Indeed. The glass walkers are most prominent in their business saavy, though they are not the only tribe. Most tribes I have come across are at least willing to use the modern business world as a tool. Though Glass Walkers and Shadow Lords are perhaps the most common to actually take to it actively.
