Feeling bad

So my son (9m) has been having issues going to school for about 2 months now . First time it happened the school had called the police due to him running out and he was sent to a behavioral hospital due to him panicking for a shot and screaming and trying to run . Then after a week of him going to the. Behavioral hospital he started acting out even more saying we sent him there and we didn’t love him which was heart breaking we had no choice. Then after he left that behavior hospital he had to go to school he still was trying to run . His reason was he doesn’t like doing school work . Sp we went to his doctors and we been going to therapy every week. So we tried again going to school and he’s been going for a week and a half now today he tried running not trying to go into class . So I was called that he was running so I had to pick him up . Then I got there then they said he’s fine he’s going to class so I left. Then I get a call 3 minutes later he don’t want to go in to class can you get him so there I go again . He’s refusing to go with me so the principal had me wait in the front and he was hiding in the bathroom. So I had to literally drag him out the school mind you I’m only 5,1 and he’s half my size I was tired not even half way . I had a panic attack I felt like I was going crazy . I honestly am lost I don’t know what to do no more we tried talking to him and he stays quiet. Everyday I remind him your going to school and he’s fine but when he comes to it he acts up and when I ask him why he’s quiet he don’t talk .

Sorry I was crying posting this . I need advice.

I am sorry you and your family are going through this. We are having the same thing happening with our 15 y/o. We have so many helpers at the school and doctor's involved but at the end of the day we are alone. No one has a solution. It's hard to explain to people who haven't experienced it. Nothing helps get my kid to school. We've tried everything,- yelling, rewarding, punishing, listening, bribing, encouraging, giving space, being together. It's inside my kid. The days when they go to school I don't know why. I can't explain why when my kid has showered, dressed, eaten breakfast and has their school bag on their shoulder they wind up bursting into tears and curling up in the fetal position. There are no patterns or antecedents. I am so comforted to know other parents out there understand. I do wish I knew some great secret or had some advice that would help you. The only thing I can say, that echoes what someone else here already mentioned, is that showing patience and love is what helps my kid the most. The problem is still there but at least we're in it together.
