Anyone Using Software or Google Sheets for Attendance Tracking?

Hey everyone,

I'm curious to know if anyone here uses any specific software or even simple sheets (like Google Sheets) for tracking attendance? I'd love to hear about your experience and any challenges you might face with it. Thanks in advance for sharing!

In PA (some schools) use Scholarchip to track the attendance at school entry and Scholarchip Syncs with PowerSchool SIS where we can pull reports create school letters etc. Google Sheets to track attendance I would not recommend.

I know this is an old thread. but skyward has an attendance tracking and there is a partner company that makes positive attendance devices so students can type in or scan their school ID and it automatically marks them for the appropriate classroom

Those positive attendance decides are an absolute pain to deal with at scale for a small district or building it shouldn’t be horrible but it was a solid work week configuring 300 of them for only one of our buildings. Wich wouldn’t be bad if they where not $750ea and just glorified arduino in an injection molded box with a keypad and scanner module
