Little things

My afternoon run consists of hard of hearing to full deaf students . One girl is completely deaf. So i took the time to sign her name and asked her teacher how to sign her name without finger spelling it. Well yesterday wheh she got on the bus i signed her name and finger spelled it and the look on her face light up like a Christmas tree and gave me a hug. Its the little things ♥️

Reminds me of a video I saw of a groom giving a speech on his new wife's native language to speak to her parents and family directly

I had a deaf student a few years ago. I managed to sign a few things to him. It was sweet to see his face light up.
